Error and Illusion
So illusion, something that is " likely " to be wrongly perceived.
Error, well, I'm not going to define it but, it's a very powerful
concept which has significance through out life in various
ways.
Well, you should be able to see some relationship from between
theses two ideas.
Often, in various places I have expressed concern about
arbitrary dichotomies, which I believe represents itself
in the current political culture in the U.S. Now, of course
you can see the reality of the situation more clearly
by understanding that there are three major parties,
but one does not really exist, that is democrat, republican
and independents. Independents besides a very few
cases just don't exist as a cohesion point of view.
Independents exist only in a true sense, as " don't care " mostly.
So we have these three perspectives, I care in one way, I care
in another way, and finally I don't care. The don't care seems
like what has been growing stronger over time.
But more back to error. Today we have a very powerful sense
of polarity ---> like there is a clear difference between good
and bad and this has been pushed in a way through both
technology and to a certain extent science and science has
been pretty good about keeping track of error. But as
most should be aware, error is inherent in almost everything.
And we should recognize therefore that illusion is something
that takes effort to avoid.
And therefore, it takes a considerable amount of effort to
avoid it, and one of the most powerful techniques which
allow this process to take place is to view things, events,
situations, relationships from as wide a perceptive as
is available. This wide perspective requires a sincere
attitude of respect and considerations for all parties
to be achieved in any successful way.
