More on Justification

Many people will say at this point, okay that's well and good but,
it is risky and we know what we got, so why make such an effort.

Well,  one issue that is difficult to get around is this notion that
one side is liberal and the other is conservative.  If that was
so that would be fine, but it's not true so there is an immediate
hypocrisy to the whole thing.

My main argument is there is sufficient difficulty inherent in this
system that it requires serious remedies.  But there are serious
benefits to  these remedies, for example in bringing states into
closer co-operation.
